YOGA PROPS REQUIRED: Yoga Mat, Yoga Blanket, Yoga Blocks (2)
Begin in a kneeling position and sit back on your heels. Place support (blocks) between your feet for comfort and an upright posture.
The class starts with breathing asanas- This follows with the neck exercise series- Arm raises- Rotating arms to release tension in the shoulders- Back into a kneeling position with blocks in front of your knees- Rolling motion from kneeling to sitting on your heels- Gradually sit back on your heels. Raise your knees.
On all-fours position- cat-cow- downward dog is instructed in three parts: knee raises, rolling from the top of your arm to an upward position, and finally downward dog with knees bent. The class moves into warrior pose from downward dog.
